Yes, it’s a fan that installs in your 5.25″ drive bay! Evercool’s PC Air Conditioner acts as an AC for your PC. This variable speed, turbine cross-flow blower installs in your drive bay to exhaust heat from your system’s components, such as your CPU, RAM or disk drives. Circulate cool air in your PC by pushing hot air out of your case, as much as 100 cubic feet of air per minute!
I had a hard drive (in a removable rack with temperature display) that would start getting too hot after about an hour. So I decided to try out of these Evercool Pc Air Conditioner’s & it actually made a good difference! Now my hard drive stays at a reasonable cool temperature!
